Alinta Energy Christmas Pageant
Campaign Overview
The Alinta Energy Christmas Pageant is one of Perth’s most iconic annual events, drawing huge family audiences into the city. I was tasked with delivering a complete creative refresh to make the pageant feel more kid-focused, family-friendly, and fun.
Taking inspiration from Illumination’s The Grinch, I reimagined the pageant’s visual identity—updating the logo and designing a cast of fictional characters, including Santa and two reindeer. These characters became the faces of the campaign, appearing across print, digital, and at the event itself, giving the pageant a playful personality and strong visual hook for kids.
The creative spanned two phases: the first encouraging participants to apply, and the second promoting the event itself. Beyond campaign creative, I produced float artwork, large-scale event signage, and supporting collateral such as road closure and event time comms for residents. The refreshed look and feel also extended online with an updated event website.
